ATHENS LAWN, GARDEN & NURSERY CENTER
Athens Lawn and Gardening Inc. expanded and opened a gardening and nursery center in May of 1999 at 8156 Salem Road.
- The outside gardens at our new facility have brought to our customers hours of pleasurable enjoyment. We incorporated a beautiful patio at our English Tea Garden, where we invite you to have coffee or a relaxing cup of tea. Our patio can be booked for your private functions.
- Our plant inventory includes seasonal choices from the standard to the unusual. We are willing to work to acquire special orders when needed. The first mission of the business is to offer gardening service. We are here to offer suggestions for your projects or to provide installation if desired.
- Step into our shop to find an assortment of products, providing alternative shopping to Athens area residents. We have a variety of baskets, many of which are locally made. We also carry a great selection from the Main Bucket Company and Basketville of Vermont.
- Within the candle shop, you will enjoy the delightful fragrances of aromatherapy, hand poured selections and a vast selection of tapers.
- Our shop contains creations of twenty area artists who have their products for sale on consignment These include a variety from jewelry to pottery and woodcarvings.
- An original line of Appalachian folk art provides us with a constantly changing inventory.
- We offer an extensive selection of wild bird feeders, houses, and have initiated a bird seed club for regular customers.
Hummingbird and Butterfly Garden workshops give you a start on creating your own haven for your colorful friends.
Children’s Workshops include a variety of activities and skills taught.
